Melannie A. Ruiz Moreno

Experience

Melannie Ruiz joined WJE in 2021 and has since developed expertise in building enclosure consulting, facade assessments, performance testing, and construction observation services. Her work spans a variety of projects, with a particular focus on historic preservation and roofing.

Before joining WJE, Ms. Ruiz completed an internship at Buro Happold, where she gained valuable experience in project coordination, technical analysis, and design support. During her time there, she developed skills in the integration of building information modeling (BIM) for sustainability initiatives and in interdisciplinary collaboration. Additionally, Ms. Ruiz worked at an architecture firm in Spain, where she contributed to the design and development of several commercial and residential projects, focusing on conceptual design, CAD drafting, and site analysis.
